Mixed Martial Arts or MMA for short it is a full contact sport that allows the fighter to use both striking and grappling techniques this various mixed style contests took place throughout Europe, Japan and the Pacific Rim during the early 1900s. This is our interest and we want to share some of its controversies with you.
Rhetorical Analysis Mark interviewed Jefferson Damag an Instructor in Team Lakay he said that “A sport not to be taken lightly, for it takes the same devotion needed in order to succeed like any other big time sport. Mix martial arts a sport like no other which requires training not just in one technique, like what many trainers in the sport say to those who wish to enter “You have to mix it up”. Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, from a variety of other combat sports.”

Outline
Mixed Martial Arts is a very dangerous sport that even professional fighters prepare for it and the fact that doctors wanted it banned is also a factor. The side effect of the sport is also one of the reasons why it is dangerous like the case of Chris Benoit and the other NFL players and Mixed Martial Arts does not only target the head but also internal organs like the liver one more target is the solar plexus this parts of the body are very sensitive and can cause internal problems other targets are the joint if their opponent does not Tap out they can break their joints and that is not illegal in the sport.

First Hand Experience
We also experienced practicing MMA in Team Lakay, Mark Dunuan Trained in Trinidad branch and I trained in the Baguio branch, based on our personal experience they trained us to be disciplined and respectful then they help you strengthen your physical and mental abilities after that they teach you the basics they drill it to your head repeatedly until you get it correctly. If you mastered the basics they will teach you advanced type of moves and there are different types of session jiu-jitsu session, striking session etcetera, we both enjoyed it specially sparring because they are not biased I mean everyone will experience fighting someone bigger than you and that gives us the thrill. And we also agreed that MMA is a dangerous sport because they teach you how to hit and take down a person even if they are larger than you but still we love it.
Mark Dunuan was influenced by his uncle Jefferson Damag to join Team Lakay and I was influenced by my brother Dingyull Delos Santos to also join the team. Our first experience was getting smashed to the ground and getting locked. Mark said that the first time he got guillotined he saw the light flash out and my first experience was getting arm barred I thought my elbows where going to break. We started loving the sport when we applied the locks on an enemy and forced them to submit or tap out.
